Our weights are sourced from both USA and Global iron foundries. Some of our products with the same fit, form and function may be offered in both USA and Global (imported) models. Any differences will be noted in the product descriptions. Some of our products are only available from a USA iron foundry or a Global iron foundry. Where possible, we offer a choice between the sources and attempt to provide all relevant information regarding each option.

Very few OEM equipment manufacturers actually produce their own ballast weights in their own foundries. Our weights are all produced by foundries that also produce ballast weights for many of the OEM brand manufacturers.
Casting Processes:
There are a variety of casting processes available to us for the production of our products. Some products require a certain manufacturing process in order to achieve the best results. While any cast iron foundry is usually capable of producing almost any casting, most specialize in only a few processes and sizes. Some of our products are only available to us from one foundry. That foundry may be in the USA or may be in another country.
Where we have substantially identical products available from both USA and Global foundries, we offer both options.

All of our mounting hardware is sourced from companies in the USA. While we do verify the grade and other specifications, we do not verify the initial country of origin.
