For Sub Compact and Compact Tractors.
3-Point hitch attachments (especially those that incorporate weight brackets) have become very popular with owners of sub-compact and compact tractors. These include owners and operators of many lawn and garden models.
TractorWeights.com does not offer these types of brackets for sale through our online store, but we do offer weights to fit almost every brand and variation of these attachments.
Common Brands Include:
Titan
NeatFarms
Heavy Hitch
Omni
Vevor
and Others…..
Almost all of these manufacturers and distributors design 3-point hitches with weight brackets and almost all accept the very same weights as ballast. These are usually built to accept standard 42-pound, 70-pound, or 100-pound suitcase style weights.
TractorWeights.com offers a complete lineup of weights to fit the majority of these attachments. We can usually match the color of your machine and can provide custom colors in some cases.
One thing to note. Many of these manufacturers provide very little information about proper ballasting techniques or the load carrying capacity of your machine.
⚠ When Choosing and Installing Additional Ballast: ALWAYS refer to the recommendations contained in the owner’s manual for your equipment. ALWAYS refer to the maximum load rating of your tires.
3-Point hitch attachments with built-in weight brackets can improve your performance. One benefit is that these attachments or the weights are usually easy to remove so that they can only be installed when you really need the extra weight. They can also be detrimental and impair the performance of your machine when used incorrectly. Careful consideration of your needs as well as the capabilities of your machine is required.
If you have any questions or concerns about properly ballasting your machine, please feel free to contact us.
